With more land developed every year, sites are now being considered for development that would have been previously discarded due to difficult soil conditions. Intermountain Helical piers can provide evaluation and engineering analysis for developments proposed in areas with these challenges. Helical piers are often a reasonable and economic solution for entire developments planned for areas with high water tables, collapsible and/or soft soils, and other sites with unique soil bearing conditions. We believe that early evaluation of a development’s site saves significant time and expense by identifying potential problem areas. Helical piers can then be installed where needed, without having to go back and provide higher-cost repairs for individual structures that show signs of settling and foundation failure after construction is complete.
